PG GEFA ROOTBALL ANCHORS

A proven, well established system to securely anchor rootballed and container grown trees. This anchoring system gives the tree a limited natural freedom of movement, stimulating root growth.
Gefa Tree Anchors were chosen for landscaping projects for the Olympic Games in Athens and the recent World Cup in Germany. Each rootball anchoring kit consists of three soil anchors with straps attached, a coconut fibre protection disc and a tensioning belt with ratchet.
Available in 3 sizes:
Light: For trees up to 25cm girth
Medium: For trees up to 50cm girth
Heavy: For trees 50cm and upwards
With Soil Anchors
Three specially designed self-locking soil anchors are driven into the ground using a drive rod. Straps are then tightened using a tensioning ratchet.
Without Soil Anchors
Specially designed for use on stony ground or on any site where soil anchors cannot be driven in. The belts are secured to steel mats using buckles.
Features:
- Fast and easy to install
- Reduces installation costs
- No need for unsightly stakes and supports
- Wide belts compared with cable systems do not damage the tree roots
- Timber triangles are not required
- Special version without soil anchors available
