HerkuPlast and the environment;
The polystyrene we use comes from first class recycled sources. This recycled material receives the best UV-treatment so it can stand the negative effects of light enabling you to reuse the trays for as long as possible. After the trays have been used they can be recycled again.
Switching to green energy is one of the easiest and quickest ways to reduce your carbon footprint. Renewable energy is clean, safe and inexhaustible. All the roofs of the Herkuplast factory and warehouses have been equipped with solar panels that supply us the energy needed to produce all our trays.
