Robinia Pseudoacacia the most durable, fast growing hardwood grown in Europe, producing a marketable crop after only 20 years. Because of its density and high natural resistance to insect and fungal attack, Robinia stakes do not require any chemical treatment.

In the UK climate Robinia will last as long as most tropical hardwoods and is more durable than Oak. In the ground Robinia will last for between 15 and 20 years.
